We had an absolutely fabulous stay at Motto Del Gallo in Ticino. This charming property, built in the 1500's, exceeded our expectations. the restaurant had a delightful atmosphere and offered an upscale menu with excellent service. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast, served outside in a delightful garden area. the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, making us feel welcomed throughout our stay. the accommodation itself was like staying in our own private house, with comfortable amenities for our family. Motto Del Gallo was the highlight of our two-week trip, and we can't wait to come back for another dinner and night in this hidden gem!

Clean accommodation - beautifully renovated. Great location for travelers heading south through Europe. Quirky outdoor spaces with plenty of seating. Excellent on-site restaurant with an amazing vegetarian menu. Very welcoming of pets and accommodating to guests with pets. Friendly staff/owner and good parking. Delicious breakfast served in a magical garden setting.

My stay at Motto Del Gallo was exceptional. The hotel has a great character and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The restaurant serves fabulous food and the staff is superb. I also enjoyed the antique ambience of the hotel. One specific situation that happened during my stay was that I arrived at the hotel around 2pm and found it closed. After some calling and waiting, the chef of the hotel finally arrived at 3.25pm and gave me the key. Although there was a lack of communication regarding the Monday closing, the chef and receptionist were kind enough to resolve the issue within their limitations.
